    ITG is looking for a knowledgeable, experienced, risk averse Corporate Actions Specialist to join our Operations team.


    This position requires a “hands-on”, self starter with fundamental business skills, strategic thinking and an eye towards managing and eliminating firm risk.  This candidate will report directly to the Director of Operations.  A successful candidate will have experience working in a self clearing organization, in a capacity where they interact often with back office, cage, stockloan and trading desk.  The candidate is expected to be able to react quickly to trading inquiries from the trading desk.  Whether a security is traded is often determined by the corporate actions department. 


    This candidate must have a meticulous methodology towards managing risk.  All aspects of a voluntary and mandatory CA are expected to be identified and tracked daily.  Leaving zero opportunity for the firm to be exposed.   The candidate will be expected to work directly with ITG clients, their custodians, and often CNS. 

    Intricate knowledge of DTCC’s suite of products is a must, with a working knowledge of an external corporate actions system (N-tier, XSP, etc)

    • Manage daily voluntary and mandatory Corporate Actions including but not limited to: tenders, CIL’s, cash and stock dividend claims, name changes, reverse stock splits, and cash and stock mergers.
    • Work directly with clients, custodians, traders, middle Office, P&S, and cage
    • Research and resolve inquiries in timely fashion (from Internal sources and clients)
    • Consult with Trading Desk regarding specific securities and their specific restrictions
    • Process all CNS and OW adjustments
    • Manage all CNS voluntary liabilities
    • Report, manage and communicate daily firm exposure in a clear and concise manner
    • Reconcile suspense account’s daily


    • 5+ years working specifically in Corporate Actions
    • Extensive knowledge of DTC Processing systems (PBS, RIPS, DIVA,CALN)
    • Bloomberg
    • Series 7 or Series 99
    • Experience with either XSP or N-Tier a plus
    • Knowledge regarding CNS reporting (ie Miscellaneous report) and how it effects firm exposure to risk
