    ITG is looking for an intellectual and enthusiastic Desktop Support Engineer to join our Windows Support team.

    • Setup, configure, and maintain various aspects of the Windows Desktop Environment, including but not limited to hardware and software management, security patches and health check monitoring in line with global desktop standards, policies and procedures 
    • Perform preventative maintenance including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers and peripherals
    • Build rapport with help desk customers and prioritise and schedule problems, escalating where required
    • Configure and support mobile devices including MDM and other telecom tasks
    • Take responsibility for London Data Centre Management including organising deliveries, patching cables, installing servers and inventory management in line with global standards, policies and procedures
    • Take responsibility for the research, product comparison and recommendation of new hardware and software in line with the technology plans of ITG Europe
    • Interact with the other Infrastructure teams locally and globally on issues and projects where needed


    • Bachelor’s degree in IT (or equivalent)
    • 3 - 4 years of relevant work experience
    • High level knowledge of Windows software and hardware
    • Previous financial services experience
    • Proven ability to work under pressure and problem solve effectively
    • Proactive approach to all aspects of the IT environment
    • Client and commercial focused mindset with a strive for excellence
    • Responsiveness to change and the ability to achieve results
    • Proven ability to manage projects
