    ITG is looking for an experienced Product Manager to deliver on projects rolling out new product capabilities and on-boarding new content.   Through a combination of deep data knowledge and experience in markets, vendor offerings and technology, the Product Manager will contribute to project planning, testing, and implementation by bridging business requirements to market data and technology.  You will work in a fast-paced environment at the forefront of the latest developments in market data and technology.  The Product Manager is a visible position that collaborates closely with Development, Network Operations and other business units to deliver new cutting-edge products to our institutional customers.

    • Deliver on data end of projects’ design and deployment, including: requirements analysis, solution design, and execution.
    • Support the sourcing and integration of new market-data content to meet business-line requirements.
    • Suggest and integrate new internal data-quality procedures and applications.
    • Conduct due diligence of vendor and other content.
    • Create data specifications for successful project delivery.
    • Create relevant reports and clearly articulate status and issues.
    • Manage internal expectations to ensure complete stakeholder satisfaction.
    • Maintain documentation on market data and its appropriate representation in ITG applications.
    • Consolidate internal and field intelligence on data and products to line management and relevant stakeholders.
    • Be internal expert in Market Data.


    • Motivational, building and managing partnership horizontally and vertically, C level interaction with IT and business, strong written and verbal communication.
    • Market Data Knowledge: desktop services, enterprise services, data feeds/content, application integration, vendor and end user experience, contract & SLA negotiation,
    • Broad IT background: Business analysis, design engineering, application dev, implementation, program management, training, support, data costs, entitlement and reporting.
    • Product Management – be able to define, development and produce a roadmap to business constituents
    • Operations management/managing operational risk – understand the challenges of doing business, producing mitigation strategies
    • Process Improvement – as the responsibilities of the department grow, processes will need to be created and refined
    • Vendor Management – important to understand the challenges faced with vendor delivery and how to influence vendor tactical and strategic direction.


    • 7-10 years’ experience in product / project management demonstrating knowledge of and capability in
    • Equity and derivatives markets, and the associated security-master, corporate-actions, pricing/tick/analytics repositories, Fixed Income and FX knowledge a plus,
    • Data vendors’ products and related data-modeling methodologies. Experience with ADM tools such as Asset Control or Golden Source and frameworks such as KX a huge plus.
    • Experience with low latency feed architectures
    • Standards and coding organizations and methodologies, such as securities’ identification codes; markets’ identification codes; ISO codes; etc.,
    • Ability to understand business flow, take and write requirements, and construct test plans.
    • Project-management and operations experience managing applications.
    • Understanding of GAP analytical tools, Development protocols, and requirements collection.
    • Master use of Microsoft Office tools.  Comfort in working with various reporting, data-mining, and data-analysis tools.
    • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate and meet customer needs.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to articulate business insights.
    • Proven ability to work within virtual and diverse teams.
