Software Developer

ITG is looking for an intelligent and enthusiastic junior Software Developer to join our EU Development team.

• Work as an integral part of the Trading Desk Services and Middle and Back office team on various products and projects, working closely with traders and business analysts
• Participate in the design and build of our next gen Global MBO infrastructure
• Work on global projects with global teams
• See the bigger picture, help steer the company in the right direction and keep up to date with best practice
• Offer second line support in GMT time zone

• C# (2+ years)
• Scripting language (Python preferred)
• SQL (1 year) 
• Computer Science degree (or equivalent)
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to changes
• Quick learner
• Ability to effectively solve complicated development problems
• Thorough and well organised
• Concern for accuracy and detail
• Ownership for areas of responsibility
• Self-confidence & customer focused service attitude

• Exposure to different technologies, such as C++, Linux, low latency, kernel bypass, machine learning, cloud and high-performance storage 
• Projects with quick life cycles, from concept to client in three months
