OVERVIEW:

ITG is looking for an experienced Network Engineering Manager to join our team.

WE'LL TRUST YOU TO:

  • Oversee end-to-end responsibility for the ITG Network including design, implement and support complex WAN / LAN network architecture based on business, technical requirements according to the policies and procedures.
  • Management of the Network Engineering team. Motivate and drive the teams to generate optimal outcomes.
  • Enforce processes for network management, including configurations, monitoring, patch management and security. Provide full visibility into Network designs, connectivity and trading workflows across the Network.
  • Minimize latency and optimize Market Data multicast distribution.
  • Work with technology groups globally (Windows, Web, Desktop, Market Data, Telecom, Unix, Development, Application support and trading systems), external facing clients, vendors, carriers.
  • Interact with different business units and product development teams with direct interaction and support of new products being developed at ITG.
  • Manage client connectivity and client support with an emphasis on infrastructure provisioning for daily operations.
  • Follow industry standards and research to assist with making technical decisions and improvements to maintain technology advancement.

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree with at least 15+ years of hands on experience building and maintaining Financial networks (including Low Latency networks)
  • Hands on experience with Cisco & Arista routers and switches both on hardware and IOS/EOS level.
  • Expert level experience in routing protocols and applications EIGRP, BGP and OSPF.
  • Experience with firewalls and load balancers such as F5, Cisco ASA, NetScaler.
  • Extensive experience with core network design & implementation, routing protocols, multicast & marketdata delivery, and network security best practices
  • Network expert with performance analysis, packet captures, and network monitoring
  • Deep understanding of Industry exchanges and how they work with relation to order execution.
  • Have built and maintained a global low latency trading environment.
  • Organized, excellent analytical and problem solving skills coupled with attention to detail and Network Engineering Team management experience.
  • Excellent customer service and team oriented style who takes a personal initiative in their work
  • Creative problem solving skills and strong communication skills
  • Commitment to continual improvement, focused on quality,
  • Cisco certified: CCIE.
